#BigArthur - Big Arthur has been a staple at our Port for over 50 years, boasting over 75 tons of lifting capacity. This impressive crane is primarily used for handling Military cargo. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the Texas General Land Office Commissioner, Dr. Dawn Buckingham, visited Southeast Texas to meet with some of our local leaders and community members. We sincerely appreciate Dr. Buckingham's visit, conversation, and concern for our community. Special thanks to State Representative Christian Manuel for arranging this wonderful meet and greet.

We were thrilled to take part in today's monthly meeting of the Contractor Business Development Group. The delightful breakfast was generously sponsored by our Port and catered by the lovely Toasted Yolk Cafe Port Arthur! Our CEO and staff members were present to provide information about upcoming projects for our Port. As mentioned today, we write almost 180 checks to local vendors monthly and aim to continue on this path - so #WAYO - Why aren't you one? #OpportunityDocksHERE!
