IEM Katowice 2024 is a standalone ESL SC2 Pro Tour event for 24 contenders, and the penultimate, largest stop before the upcoming Esports World Cup serving as the ESL Pro Tour Championsip.
From February 8th to 11th, challengers from across the world will compete for their share of the $500,000 prize pool and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to lift the glorious trophy of IEM Katowice 2024 and take home the Intel Extreme Masters trophy.
Watch the return of another memorable IEM Katowice at the International Congress Center (MCK), just 1 minute from the Spodek Arena and IEM Expo (free to enter). February 8th to 11th.

You can join the event even if tickets are already sold out.
You don't need a ticket to join the IEM Expo, which is completely free to enter. There will be additional free seats in the Auditorium available on a first come, first served basis.

What are the COVID policies to attend the event?
We will follow the local restrictions at the time of the event
I want to visit both SC2 and CS, do I have to purchase two tickets?
Yes, a SC2 ticket only gives access to the SC2 competition in the MCK Auditorium, where the tournament will take place in its entirety
In order to enjoy the Counter-Strike competition, you will need a separate CS ticket. This will grant you access to the CS area in the Spodek Arena.
What will happen if the event will have to be cancelled due to restrictions set by the government?
In cases where fans are not allowed to participate in the event, there will be a number of solutions available. First of all, a full refund will be possible. Secondly, the tickets will become valid for next year’s IEM. All information on the refunds and tickets in general will be available on a dedicated website.
Will there be free seats that don't require a ticket like in previous years?
Yes! In 2024, the IEM Expo remains free to attend.
The Auditorium will have smaller section of free seats available for visitors of the free Expo.
If you want to secure yourself a seat though, you will have to purchase a ticket to the Regular or Premium sectors.
Is there an age requirement?
The minimum age of entering the event alone (without a guardian or without parental consent) is 16. However persons between 13 and 16 years of age, need to bring a written consent letter from their parent or legal guardian. Persons below 13 can only enter the event accompanied by a responsible adult.
Do all tickets guarantee a seat?
Yes. In our new model, all tickets guarantee a seat in a suitable sector. there won't be one specific seat attached to your specific ticket, but there will always be a seat for you in your respective ticket category.
When do the doors open?
The doors to the MCK and Auditorium will open every day from February 8-11 at 11:00 CET.
What language will the show be in?
The entire tournament will feature a live commentary in English.
When do the ticket sales start?
The tickets will be available for purchase on November 15th at 16:00 CET.
